The international solar alliance have legally launched. Its an initiative of our pm mr. Narendra Modi.
At present 121 countries are its member
Headquarter -Gwal Pahari, Gurugram, Haryana..

Prime meridian and equator are intersect in the Gulf of Guinea, just off the western coast ofAfrica.

The initiative for International Solar alliance was launched by PM Narendra Modi at the India Africa Summit, and a meeting of member countries ahead of the 2015 UN climate change conference in Paris in November 2015. The Framework Agreement of the International Solar Alliance opened for signatures in Marrekah, Morocco in November 2016, and 121 countries have joined and is legalised.

➡ The present status of ISA is that it is legally active.
➡ But it is not legally launched.
➡Till date 40 countries have signed and 11 countries have ratified the Framework Agreement of the ISA.
➡ With ratifications by 15 countries, the ISA will become a treaty based inter-governmental international organisation and it will be recognize by UN legally to become fully funtionable.
➡ As of now it is a defacto body.

there are four quarters of the fiscal year 2017 18 April May June is the first quarter July August September is the second quarter October November December is the third quarter

and The Fourth quarter is January February March and the fiscal year or the financial year starts from 1st April to 31st March

** The Equator has mark of Zero degrees latitude and the Prime meridian one of Zero degrees longitude ,and they intersect at GULF OF GUINEA in the Atlantic ocean which is part of Western edge of African Tectonic plates.

** INTERNATIONAL SOLAR ALLIANCE:- Common platform for cooperation among sun rich countries lying fully or partially between the Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn .
** LAUNCH:- The Initiative as launched at the climate change conference in PARIS at the end of 2015 by the President of FRANCE and the Prime minister of INDIA .
** MEMBERS:- Organisation of 121 member countries.
** HEADQUARTER:- Gwalpahari,GURGAON.
** LEGAL STATUS :- Active.
** AUSTRALIA recently became 35th country to join ISA .
