  2. Nirmala bharat abhiyaaan was established in year 1999… among 607district and 30states/uts… particularly for rural areas with the main motive of creating awareness among people about the importance of sanitation ….. it was relaunched on 2nd oct .2014… with theme clean india mission … brand ambassador is vidya balan (Bollywood actress).

  3. Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan was introduced by Govt. in the year 1999. Its main objective was to create awareness about sanitation , particularly among the people from rural areas. To accelerate the usage of proper sanitation in the country through various Gram Panchayats.

To reduce pollution the steps taken by me are:
    1. Switching off lights and fans when not using.
    2. Not using lights in day time when enough natural light is available.
    3. using bags instead of polythene bags, throwing garbage only in dustbins,

National legal services authority vs. Union of India is a landmark decision by the Supreme Court by declaring Transgender as third gender. This judgement was given on April 15, 2014.

  4. i never throw anything like wrappers, leftouts etc anywhere till i find a dustbin
and say it to my friends, relatives and other people to throw the garbage in dustbin only,if you donot find a dustbin near you then keep it in your pocket or bag and throw in the dustbin when you get it
A small step like this can contribute a lot

  5. The basic & foundational actions for reducing the pollution in all the aspects should be started by individual effort. Without the contribution of individual we cannot reduce the pollution levels of our country. As can be seen from the picture in Delhi now a days the life of the people is life threatening there. Pollution levels have reached a point from where the recovery process is very long, and it can be done only by the government with the help of individual persons, society,NGOs etc.
The individual efforts done by me / should be done (on the basis of different pollutions )are as follows –
    1. Air pollution – The first and foremost comes the pollution from the air we breathe, this could be minimised by reducing levels of particulate matter coming from industries, transportation, construction process, and most importantly burning of farm waste.
For industries and construction works suitable measures should be taken to take into account the dust & pollution they're generating and before the release of the polluted air through chimneys and other means treatment of air should be done.
Using public transportation system as much as possible and using electric vehicles to reduce the pollution, travelling by cycles etc.
    2. Water pollution – Water pollution control can be done lagely on the basis of behavioral change, as if I see some people bathing in ghats and river sides , I suggest them not to use soaps and detergents as they contaminate the water bodies heavily and by not throwing plastics (all sort of in the river) in the name of spiritual beliefs.
Don't let people defecate near the rivers and ghats as it gets mixed with river and pollute the whole stream. These are some of the measures which is taken by me and should be taken by all the enlightened people.
Other measures would be to direct the industries to treat the water before discharging them into the water bodies as they contain many metals and oxides which would disturb the ecosystem of the river and making it unsuitable for use.
    3. Sound pollution – steps taken by me are the way we want to listen our songs with loud music should be done with the help of earphones or headphones that would not harm or irritate others and would not create the pollution all together.
Other measures can be to restrict the loud boxes and speakers after 10 pm in every district as it disrupts the sleep of my people and people having cardiac problems can also experience attacks also.
    4. Land pollution – Don't let people defecate in open as it contaminates the land and also attract flies and insects that carry viruses and bacteria and can cause diseases and disrupt our daily lives. Teach people to collect waste from the household in a bag and throw in a particular place from where it'll be collected.
Collection and treatment of waste products by municipal corporation/ authorities from time to time if not done registering a complain and making yourself in the category of Jagruk Nagrik.
Behavioural change is the key for all the changes to be seen in our surroundings.
Take one example of a great initiative taken by our government
Swachh Bharat Mission – which restricts open defecation, construction of latrines in public places as well as households, collection and treatment of waste ( dry and wet ) both, behavioural change etc.
So keep your city clean and help the government to meet the mission of clean India by 2019.

  6. We are tought to throw garbage in two seperate dustbin blue and green …..whats the point if the garbage collector of socity collect in small mini truck without any seperation between organic and non biodegradable……….advertisment is easy but implementaion is zero……

  7. 1. Turn off the lights before leaving room.
    2. Use electricity only at dark, try to use more natural light.
    3. Use public transport , less extent to personal vehicle.
    4. Use dustbin for waste.
    5. Plant more trees.

  8. Some points which I follows since 2006 to control pollution.
+ I prefer public transport more
+I use a little amount of water for morning brush instead of using open tap.
+Every year I am planting atleast 15 plants with full care.
+Always use dustbins to put waste material.
+Even when I travel to any place and eat packet food.I put the rapper in my bag if there is no dust bin nearby.
+I also motivate the young children to do the same.
+Whenever leaving the house I switched off all the electrical appliances.
+I always use the modern technology based electrical appliances which are energy efficient in nature.
+ I am son of farmer and from last ten years we had never burn the stubble of our agricultural fields.
Instead of burning the stubble we uses modern technology based agricultural equipments .
+Now in agricultural perspect we are shifting gradually to organic fertilizers than to use inorganic one.
HOPE IT WILL INSPIRED MANY MORE TO COME AND JOIN THIS GREAT INITIATIVE TO PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT.

  9. Hey, everyone i am always working to tackle the pollution problem. from my ideas , thoughts and social messages may be by the means of whats app, facebook, social gathering. Everywhere i get a chance i utilizes on the pollution problem or the similar issues.
we have a lots of diiferent different ideas to tackle this problem may be like Afforestation.
But i came with a new and innovative approach can be made more practical. Like we have a major problem of Air pollution where the main cause is vehicles density in cities specially. but the question is where this people are roaming on roads. Majorly they are moving for there jobs. And that is why in morning and evening (working hours) traffic is more. Specially taking the case of delhi. people from haryana, UP borders and the delhi outskirts including the area of bawana, narela, kajhawla, alipur, Najafgarh, ghevra etc. Their major location of jobs are cannaught place, Dhaula kuan, noida, gurgaon, faridababad, ghaziabad. For this they travels almost 100 kms, daily for a up-down. Now what can we do to tackle this problem. We can provide them jobs near their houses, providing them allocation near work location, job location must be near metro stations, work from home policies, closure of offices on unncecessary days, work on day for double shift and other day off, visual offices. This will surely work, because people have to work for survival, but still as we earn, we are making it a liablity for our earth. we must think whether we are earning or spending.think over it

  10. 1) AFGHANISTAN (capital-Kabul, currency- afghan)

    2) NIRMAL BHARAT ABHIYAN
    – earlier known as total sanitation campaign, Est 1999
    3) NIRMAL BHARAT – Accelerate sanitation coverage in rural areas to achieve vision of nirmal bharat by 2022

    JAI HIND

  12. What are you doing to control pollution?
Most importatly I plant trees and shrubs on my birthday and I gift plants as a birthday gift.
I celebrate by planting trees and
I avoid using polythene bags, instead I use jute and paper bags.
I always look forward to motivate my younger ones to become nature lover and tell them the importance of planting trees, cause when children learn their parents learn too.
