Euthanasia: a right to die.

Euthanasia means when a person goes to unconscious or a vegetative state during his/her medical treatment like comma and there is no chance that he/she will be recovered from that situation and if that particular person has already given a will to die in this situation then the life support system can be removed.
There are two types of Euthanasia :
Active Euthanasia : when life support is removed deliberately by the medical professionals.
Passive Euthanasia: when life support system is not removed but any remedies are not being made to save the person life and slowly we let him die with the current condition of the patient.

Should it be allowed?
– Article 21 of Indian Constitution gives a right to live with dignity and gives a freedom over the personal body. So it indirectly covers a right to die with our own will. We can make a decision according to this right that how we want to die in order to spent our last moment as we wanted.

Why should it be allowed?
– It is a personal matter so no one has a right to decide.
– Sometimes it is impossible to recover a patient even if we allow them to live through a vegetative state so unnecessarily it increases the financial burden on the rest of the family.
– Anyway if a person is going to die after a indefinite period of time them why to make his life more painful and why to let him/her and his/her family members to suffer?
-Euthanasia is allowed is some of the nations in world so we are not the one who are thinking about this.
– If an expert committee has declared in a fair manner that person is not going to recover and that person has already asked for it then there is nothing wrong about this.

But why we should not?
– There are example in around the world where people has recovered in a miraculous way from Euthanasia. So nobody can be so much certain about it.
– Euthanasia can be misused by the family members of the patient in some other manner also where they dont like that particular member in the family and then indirectly they get a right to snatch his/her life.
– In some manner it will promote doctor to deny their duty in such cases where they dont want to put their all the efforts to save a life.
– after witnessing the current condition of the health sector of India we are not sure that we have experts available everywhere in the country to take this kind of situation.
