PART 3 (IIT JEE Lecture Series – Complex Numbers | Maximum and Minimum Value)
In this video, we will discuss the most important inequality in complex numbers i.e. The Triangle Inequality. I will discuss the proof of the inequality by algebraic method as well as by graphical method i.e. using geometry.
Triangle inequality: |(|z_1 |-|z_2 |)| ≤ |z_1+z_2 | ≤ |z_1 |+|z_2 |
We will also discuss the vector property of complex numbers i.e. complex number behaves like vectors when it comes to addition and subtraction.
The above concepts are important for students studying for IIT JEE.
