सन 1 जनवरी 1818..तृतीय आंग्ल मराठा युद्ध, किसी ने कहा था कि अंग्रेजो ने भारत की राजनितिक अधिसत्ता मुग़लो से नहीं अपितु मराठो को हरा कर प्राप्त किया था।
युद्ध की घटना की पृष्ठभूमि थी कि महार जाती के 500 सैनिकों ने अंग्रेजो का साथ दिया था मराठा साम्राज्य की स्थापना ब्राम्हणवाद के खिलाफ के लिए बनायीं गयी थी लेकिन शिवाजी महाराज को राजा(छत्रपति) के रूप में जनता तभी स्वीकार करती जब कोई ब्राम्हण उसकी राज्याभिषेक करे। अतः ब्राम्हण को स्वीकार करना शिवाजी महाराज की मजबूरी बन चुकी थी।
तब से कह सकते है कि मराठो में उच्च वर्ग का प्रभुत्व स्थापित हो गया और उच्च वर्ग निम्न वर्ग की भेद और बढ़ गयी।
मराठो ने देश की ऑन बान शान के लिए अपनी जान तक न्योछावर कर दिया। अंततः तृतीय आंग्ल मराठा युद्ध ने मराठो की राजनितिक शक्ति छीन लिए।
इसमें अंग्रेजो की जीत ने महार जाती की जीत के रूप लिया,और इस जीत को अपनी और उच्च वर्ग की हार के रूप में देखा।
वर्तमान स्थिति में 1 जनवरी 2018 को उनकी जीत की 200वीं वर्षगांठ के रूप में मनाया जा रहा था,जो एक विशाल जश्न के रूप में था। राजनितिक चाटुकारो ने इसे राजनितिक अधिप्रचार के रूप में देखा,महार इसे 199 वर्ष तक मानती रही लेकिन तब तो किसी ने ध्यान नहीं दिया। राज्य सरकार की कानून व्यवस्था का नाकामी साफ दिखती है या तो सोची समझी साजिश रची गई थी।
परिणाम क्या हुआ अपने ही लोग अपनों से लड़ गए। कुछ जाने गयी ये जान किसकी थी क्या वह उच्च वर्ग का था या किसी निम्न वर्ग का कहना मुश्किल है क्योंकि लोग ही तो मरे मानवता ही तो मरी क्या उसके परिवार या उसके माँ पीता जी ने उसे इसी काम के लिए इस दुनिया में लाया था?
अतीत ने हमें बहोत कुछ सीखा दिया है कि राजतन्त्र में कैसे राजा जनता पर राज करती थी। अब तो हमारा देश में लोकतंत्र है,क्यों न हम अपने बारे में सोचे क्यों न हम थोड़ा स्वार्थी बने। राजनीति के अधिप्रचार और चन्द पैसे के लिए अपनी बहुमूल्य जिंदगी अस्त व्यस्त न होने दें।
गीता में लिखा है 'भूतकल से सीख लेना चाहिए, भविष्य की चिंता छोड़ देना चाहिए, वर्तमान की सोचो'

I do not want to hurt you in any kind, you are doing magnificent job.
And I know that you are working as social reformer too.I have great respect in all these regards.
But due to long moral and explanatory discussion ,I feel we lose fact-figure and data in lecture .
Because while preparing for an exam and it's revision we use to remind that we had a healthy discussion on a particular topic in lecture but when we come on MCQs we are not able to answer .
So please it's a request while lecture stress on data also.

Every time politition is not a reason for such kind of issues . Every time if any issue is happen then people think any politition behind this . After the lock out for the one day many things are happen in maharashtra . They attack on public transport about 20 crore loss to transport and what they got after this lock out.

Maratha forces were not defeated in Bhima Koregao, they just had withdrown since Chhatrapati and many higher officials were with the troops. It is the british propoganda made by british officials (just for these kind of matters in future) and yes,they did defeat marathas in war of khadki but not here.
