instead of abolish governor post..steps should taken as like..
Don't make it as post retirement gift for politicians..
union must not use governor post to fulfil its politician choice at state level
states need to have a voice in governor selection so that they can work in cordial manner
Also governor position is needed to manage things in transition period like election and presidential rule in states….
so, governor not act as agent but as a bridge b/w union and centre…

There is major concern for ECI due to high incidence of glitches in vvpat machine as happend in bye elections.
EC suggested machines are more prone to malfunctioning due to their sensitivity to extreme weather conditions and exposure to light.
VVPAT 's universal implementation which began in goa assembly polls in feb , 2017 was deemed necessary as many political parties complain about possible hacks of EVM. but vvpat implementation was hastened to bring back trust in election process.
Considering alk these challenges the ECI should consider deploying vvpat machines in a limited ,statistically significant, randomly chosen set of polling booths.
This will reduce the possibility of glitches affecting polling process as well tested machines could ne deployed to such booths.

I always carry my jute carry bag to buy my stuffs but when ever I unpack my bag I really get upset …the packaged food items and plastic packaging of each nd every products makes me feel useless carrying jute bag …..moreover in India dustbins are NOT SEPARATED…AND THUS ALL MY EFFORTS TO KEEP BIODEGRADABLE ITEMS SEPARATE GOES IN VAIN.

The usage of VVPAT machines of the Election Commission is expected to ensure free and fair elections. In the VVPAT system, when a voter presses the button for a candidate of his choice in the electronic voting machines (EVM), a paper ballot containing the serial number, the name of the candidate
and poll symbol will be printed for the voter. The voters will be able to view the voter-verifiable paper audit trail slip for seven seconds after which after which it will get deposited in a sealed box. VVPAT machines can be regarded as an independent verification system as it (i) allows voters to verify that their votes are cast correctly, (ii) detects possible election fraud or malfunction and (iii) Provides a means to audit the stored electronic results
