After arresting the post-graduate student alleged of cheating during the December 2016 National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET), police said that the accused has been involved in two other cheating cases in Delhi and Haryana.
The accused along with four others was named in the FIR registered at Delhi Cantt police station.
According to the sources, Jan Mehta alias Rajeev Ranjan was also arrested in JBT (Junior Basic Training) entrance exam. He is also accused of cheating during the competitive exam held in Rohtak in 2015.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (crime) Rajesh Deo said that the police will request the court to extend the custody which ends on Monday.
