In this video, I have explain about the oxidation of aldehyde and ketone . Aldehyde are easily oxidised to carboxylic acidson treatment with commom oxidising agents like nitric acid, ptassium dichromate etc,even mild oxidising agents , mainly tolleris reagent and fehling solution . I also explain the oxidation of methyl ketones by haloform reaction.
