  1. Answer is D .
1)legislative council election held after every 6 years , and 1/3 members retired after every 2 years.
2)there is no provision for joint sitting in the Constitution for state assembly but in case of parliament , it is there only if the rajya sabha holds bill for more than 6 months (Ordinary Bill) and for 14 days (Money bill).

  2. The whole lecture was very well put together and lucid as well but there were pecuniary mistakes such as women representative in gender gap index globally is said by the speaker sir as 33 percent but is written on screen 22 percent, then in last article delhi's BRTS is explained as Bus rapid transit corridor here also mis match of alphabet S and pronunciation of word starting with C i.e the corridor

rest it is very helpful and a initiave close to heart of lakhs of aspirants Thanks 😊

  3. Under Article 171 clause (1) of Indian Constitution … Legislative Council strenght cannot exceed 1/3 that is it can be one third as here we can see Odisha with 147 members in Legislative Assembly going for 49 members in Legislative Council and you are saying less than 1/3… Mistake… Do correct this…
