Deemed University Medical College NEET Cutoff 2018 and Fees Structure - Videos

There are 40 medical colleges which come under the deemed university counselling conducted by the All India Medical Counselling Committee. The total MBBS seats in these deemed universities are close to 6300.

There is no category reservation system for deemed university counselling. Two deemed univerities, one in Karnataka and another in Delhi, have muslim minority reserved seats. There are 100 minority mbbs seats in deemed universities. Apart from this, there are no other reservation in medical deemed universities. Deemed universities have two types of MBBS seats. First type is called management quota and the total seats available under this quota is close to 5250 . The second type is called NRI quota which comes close to 950 seats. The tuition fees for management quota is high and for NRI quota, it is very high because the fees should be paid in dollars.

The first thing you need to know about deemed university is that it has high tuition fees so the cutoff will be lesser than the government colleges. What do you think is the lowest All India Rank who got MBBS seat in last year deemed university counselling? It was close to 85000. The corresponding NEET score for this all india rank last year was 390. This year it is expected to be 365. So If your NEET score for this year is more than 365, then you have chance to get mbbs seat in deemed university counselling.
