  2. 1.Southwesterly winds- responsible for the monsoon season and Northeasterly winds in winter times bring monsoon in parts of South India. 2.An MP can become the CM of a state but he or she needs to be elected as a member of the legislative assembly within six months from his or her resignation as an MP. Example -Ms. Mamata Bannerjee. She was an MP but when TMC came into power, she resigned and got elected within 6 months in the WB state legislative assembly.

  7. The Constitution does not contain any specific procedure for the selection and appointment of the
    Chief Minister. Article 164 only says that the Chief Minister shall be appointed by the governor.
    Leader of the party in majority can be appointed as Chief minister. Any person without post of profit can be appointed, for six months and within six month he/she should be elected as MLA (member of legislative assembly). If a person is MP he/she has to resign from that post. for example Yogi Adityanath becomes CM of Uttar-pradesh recently and Manohar Parikar as CM of Goa.
