2. Major Reliefs-

3. CJ of respective HC and two senior most judges of HC comprise collegium. They recommend names for appointment as Judges of court.
The apex court i.e. SC will scrutinize on this. SC will have collegium of CJI and 4 senior most judges of SC. They will clear the name for appointment.
* It will elect judges and CJ of HC.
* It will transfer judges and CJ of one HC to another.
* It will transfer judges and CJ of HC to judge of SC.
Collegium is not mentioned in our constitution or in Successive amendments.
