$100k total compensation is excellent for a 22-25 yr old in Tampa coming out of USF. Even though she sometimes works 80 hours a week, actuarial analysts usually have to average 60-70 hours a week when study time for exams is included. Finance may be worse than data science, digital marketing, and other emerging careers, but it does seem a lot better than most STEM jobs.
