  1. $100k total compensation is excellent for a 22-25 yr old in Tampa coming out of USF. Even though she sometimes works 80 hours a week, actuarial analysts usually have to average 60-70 hours a week when study time for exams is included. Finance may be worse than data science, digital marketing, and other emerging careers, but it does seem a lot better than most STEM jobs.

  2. KEY QUESTION that she could have been asked: Which does she prefer, high pay but no life outside of work due to 70 – 80 hour working week or normal pay but work normal working hours and have a life outside of work?
