my second opinion on articleship that..
let it be optional ..as per studnts prefrence..

articleship is mandatory only to eligible for final exam…

he can start his articleship
after cpt..
after grp i
after grp ii
after both grp.
as students think appropriate.

it solve the problem of ..
3 years unnessesaey wastage if he continuously fail

before final exam they may complete their training..which gives enough time to std.

after articleship they can focus on difficult group ..
which they not yet clear..

more article joining office to reduce new work load.

more experiance of practicle knowledge..

less dropouts..

ICAI can do any blunder.. when they can allow direct entrants who can be of any stream with 60% marks and dont even know DR CR can commence their practical training from day one. !

Ye announcement kin students ke liye allowed Hai means Intermediate via foundation route ya Intermediate via direct entry and kb se applicable hoga means month n year ?

Sir your opinion is 100% right on case CPT route students always join only after clearing both groups in order to get more exposure and knowledge of practical training.Even in case Direct Entry also since i as direct entry student it is very difficult to manage IPCC along with audit work in office .
So students should prefer CPt route and even they should wait till they clear both groups of IPCC inoder to join Articleship.

Articleship should bhi started after both group.. untill nd unless student will not have atleast basic knowledge about subject he/she will not be able to work.. nd best example of this is the big4.. they take articles after both group only..

I think it's a great move because passing first or second group shows that you deserve in this field and according to me that's what Institute want to check
