Dr Jon Tabbert

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Jon acquired his expertise in US admissions in his studies for a Bachelor’s degree from Bradley University, a Master’s degree from Minnesota State University, and a doctorate from the University of North Dakota. While in the United States, he held administrative or faculty positions at the University of North Dakota; Hastings College, Nebraska; and Lake Erie College, Ohio.

He later represented a consortium of American universities in Europe, before relocating to the UK in 1982 and working as Dean of Admission for Richmond, The American International University in London. Since 1995, Jon has provided independent consultancy in US admissions. He now supports schools and families with applications to the US as part of leading education consultancy, Dukes Education.

William Wheelan, President and Founder of Sentia Education

William is a native New Yorker and a graduate of Regis High School. He holds a B.S. in Theater and a B.A. in Comparative Literary Studies from Northwestern University and a certificate in College Counseling from UCLA Extension. His career as a tutor spans nearly twenty years and includes in-depth preparation for not only the SAT but also the SSAT, ISEE, ACT, LSAT, and GRE.

As an academic mentor, William has personally guided over four hundred students through the challenges of high school, college and beyond. His extensive background in college consulting germinated from a desire to help his SAT students present themselves in the best possible light throughout the college application process. His combination of an emphasis on community involvement, specialized interests, and polished and persuasive writing samples has a consistently transformative effect on his students’ futures.
