The join entrance examination or JEE Advanced exam, the gateway to prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), will be conducted fully online from next year.

The Joint Admission Board (JAB) responsible for laying down the policy for the examination JEE Advanced exam took the decision on Sunday.

Students vying for engineering colleges need to clear the JEE Mains test, before qualifying for the JEE Advanced. The government had earlier introduced the option to take the Mains test online, and JAB has now decided to extend it to the Advanced exam in the interest of making logistics and evaluations easier.
