Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has announced the schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2017. The exam will be held on May 21, 2017 and conducted by the seven zonal coordinating IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2017. The performance of a candidate in this exam will decide his or her eligibility for admission to the bachelor’s, integrated master’s and dual degree programmes in all the IITs. The exam will have two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Both are compulsory. Only those candidates who clear JEE (Main) 2017 will be allowed to appear for JEE (Advanced).
