LUCKNOW: Parents of Rohan Gupta of Lucknow’s City Montessori School Gomti Nagar branch were thrilled to learn on Thursday that their son had secured AIR 43 in JEE Main 2017, with a score of 328/360. For them, it was a trip down memory lane because Rohan’s father, Rohit, and mother, Anamika, had cracked JEE in 1998 (rank 196) and AIPMT (rank 123), in 1991, respectively.
Rohit Gupta is a computer software engineer and Anamika a gynecologist. “We are happy that our son has done far better than what we did in our times. But this is just the first step. We are confident that Rohan will do well in the JEE Advanced too,” the proud father said.
