Not 13 , because I will open the box in a different way , so that the rectangle has length 8 and width (4+5) , so 8×8=64 and 9×9=81 and 64+81=145 , So the shortest distance is the square root of 145 , that is 12,04 .
The correct answer is actually closer to 12.
