Darlene J. Smolek, 60, of Tipton, passed away on Aug. 24, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City.

A memorial service was at 1 p.m. on Sept. 2, 2017, at Lahey & Dawson Funeral Home, Olin. A private family burial was in Olin Cemetery.
