In para jumbles, you are given a set of 4-5 sentences in a random order. You are expected to sequence them in a meaningful order. Think of this section like solving a puzzle. Or you could even approach it like an editor trying to improve someone’s work.

Overall this sections tests your ability to track argument or logic AND your ability to understand structural clues in writing.
There are two main types of questions within this type.
One is where you are expected to sequence all the sentences.
The other is where some sentences are fixed (like the 1st and the last), and you are expected to sequence the rest of the sentences.

In this video, Mr. Vijay Anand talks about various strategies to answer para jumbles questions in CAT in a quick and easy manner.
