History optional here. Upinder Singh in History of Ancient India says Indo Greeks were the first one to issue gold coins.
In old NCERT it is mentiones that Indo-Greeks(Bactrians) were first to issue gold coins while Kushanas were 1st to issued them in large quantity.
Don't apologize, no one is appropriately correct. Moreover u put down the corrections in front of all, that's much more heightened compare to a pity apology.
