In this video I have explain about Hydroboration oxidation of alkenes! It really isn’t one of the more important reactions in Organic Chemistry so I decided to show you my shortcut trick with it. Alkenes are generally prepared through β elimination reactions, in which two atoms on adjacent carbon atoms are removed, resulting in the formation of a double bond. Preparations include the dehydration of alcohols, the dehydrohalogenation of alkyl halides, and the dehalogenation of alkanes.
