Prof. Biju Varkkey, Chairperson, “ePGP” programme, introduces the e-Mode Post Graduate Programme, which is the newest part of the diploma granting programmes offered by IIMA. IIMA’s ePGP Programme is the comprehensive long duration programme and has combination of Academic Rigour of IIMA and Power of Technology. The programme is meant for those graduates who want to pursue a management education from across the country who do not want to leave their professional commitments. IIMA has collaborated with Hughes Global Education India Ltd (HGEIL) to offer Interactive Onsite Learning (IOL) in order to facilitate teaching. ePGP is a two-year diploma-granting programme from IIM Ahmedabad. The programme has various unique features; (a) Flexibility of distance, which means students can take up the teaching of this programme from the 52 Hughes Learning Centres across India. (b) The programmes allow the flexibility to combine work as well as studies together, as the programme offers teaching after office duration. (c) The programme has been designed for two years, but students get the flexibility for completing in 3 years. (d) The programme combines unique blended effectiveness of classroom teaching as well as online learning, because students regularly visit the IIMA Campus for campus mode of learning, and attend classes through an online portal. (e) Like other PGP Programme of IIMA, in ePGP, the student learning is supplemented with continuous evaluation, project work, guidance from faculty members, and rich peer to peer learning experience.
ePGP of IIMA invites applications from candidates who have completed graduation with minimum 50% marks, who are of 24 years older and more having minimum 3 years of full-time work experience. The institute will consider valid CAT and GMAT scores for admission. IIMA will also conduct an online admission test for those aspirants who do not have CAT / GMAT score, the IIMA Admission Test (IAT) which will be held on June 30 & July 1, 2018, across India.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for personal interview at the IIMA campus or in other cities as decided by the Institute.
