In a week’s time, Sidharth B from Kaloor, Kochi, will turn 26 but the youngster has already secured his birthday gift — the 15th rank in this year’s Civil Service Examination.
However, a relaxed and non-chalant Sidharth says he just got lucky! “My method of study was pretty unstructured. Other than history and my optional subject political science, I didn’t really like the rest of the subjects. I left a truckload of portions unprepared before the exam. This was my second attempt and already, I had stretched myself too much and was sure I wouldn’t go for another try. Luckily, I got relatively easy questions and also a simple interview, in which the panel hardly asked any challenging questions!” says Sidharth.
