Nothing could stop Bhairulal from achieving his dream. The 18-year-old, who comes from a village which lacks basic facilities, cleared Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2017, the results for which was declared on Sunday.

Bhairulal, who belongs to a modest farmer family in Bhilwara, scored All India Rank (AIR) 1143 in OBC category and AIR 6750 in general category in JEE (Advanced).

“My father used to cultivate five bighas of land and sell milk. My mother, Seema Devi, worked as an NREGA labourer in the village till a few years ago to lend a helping hand in earning our bread and butter and educate me,” he said. Adding, “I would not have been able to succeed without the support my parents, who have never been to school.”
