Based on my experince, I think situational awarness is a great skill to make great conversation. I define it as discussing the right topic with the right person in the right place/time. After I develop my awarness I can listen and speak with confidence.
I haven't tried the breathing technique to get rid of the anxiety but usually if I speak about my anxiety and what I'm feeling with someone really close, it goes!
