SSC GD (Constables) 2018 Exam will be conducted to recruit candidates for the General Duty post of BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, Rifleman etc. SSC GD Notification 2018 has been released on 21st July 2018 by Staff Seelction Commission of India.

SSC GD Cut-Off 2018
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a notification for recruitment of Constable General duty (GD) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Force (ITBP) Sahastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and rifleman (GD) in Assam rifles. The commission will fill tentatively 54,953 (47,307 males and 7646 females) posts through this recruitment process.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination.

The application process starts on July 21 and the last date for receipt of application is August 20. The date of the computer based test will be notified later. The admit card for the examination will not be sent by post and will be uploaded on regional and sub-regional websites of SSC. The admit card will also be available on CRPF’s website crpf.gov.in.

Pay scale: Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.

Eligibility: Candidate must be citizen of India and as the vacancies are state/UT wise, they must submit domicle/PRC against his her state/UT.

Age: The candidate must be between 18-23 years of age as on August 1, 2018. There is relaxation of age for SC, ST, OBC, ex-servicemen and some other category candidates.

Educational qualification as on August 1, 2018: Matriculation or Class 10 pass from recognised university or board.
