MUMBAI: This year on, students appearing for SSC exams will have to submit details of their Aadhaar while filling forms. If that is not possible, students should do it latest by the time results are declared. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education introduced the rule last year but has made it mandatory this time.
In case a student has applied for Aadhaar card and hasn’t got it yet, he can submit the details of the application. If a student has not yet applied, the school principal will have to submit an undertaking that the details would be made available before the results.
