Tamilnadu State Rank for MBBS Counselling is released today. In this video, we are going to analyze the state rank between 2017 Tamilnadu State Rank list and 2018 Rank list and see how much NEET cutoff has increased for BC Category.
Last year the NEET cutoff for BC community reservation was 311 for government college quota. Let us check the community rank from the last year 2017 Tamilnadu state rank list. Student who got NEET score 311 stood at BC community Rank 1254.
In this year 2018 tamilnadu state rank list, Student who got NEET score 311 stood at BC community Rank 2537.
When we compare these two community rank, we can understand that the cutoff has increased significantly. Students who have got BC community Rank less than 1250 have good chance to get the govt medical quota seats in Tamilnadu medical colleges this year. The corresponding NEET score for this community rank is 368. If your score is 360, you can be sure to get govt college during the Tamilnadu state counselling.
