Bitcoin took a beating overnight, dropping to right around $8500 on Bitstamp. It looks like the bears finally felt confident enough to make a move after price failed to retrace above $9000. As we have continued to mention for weeks, $8500 is a potential bounce area. Will it or won’t it, is the question? Failure for $8500 to hold should see support continuing to build around $8150-$8200.
