Welcome to Unacademy’s First Weekly Series with Roman Saini’s “UPSC: Insights and Essentials” where every Tuesday @ 8p.m. Roman will cover important UPSC CSE topics. In this first episode, he talks about the Fundamental Duties of every citizen and assures everyone that once you watch this video, you would not need to read this part from a book ever again. So watch, learn and stay tuned for the next episode!

The Fundamental Duties are defined as the moral obligations of all citizens to help promote a spirit of patriotism and to uphold the unity of India. These duties, set out in Part IV–A of the Constitution, concern individuals and the nation. Like the Directive Principles, they are not enforceable by the law. Must watch for all!

  1. Hello Sir,
I have been following and watching your videos from more than 2 years. I have a doubt. I am studying in a coaching institute in Delhi. I am reading the Hindu daily and religiously (missed a few days though for some reasons). When I go through different portals, like Insightsonindia and my coaching portal, I come across other news articles that I don't know anything about and that seems to be important. I feel like too many news are left out. What other than The Hindu is important ? Is it that leaving those articles would adversely affect my current affairs preparation ?
I don't know how to contact you, so I have messaged you here.
