The physics exit exam (given as the Major Field Test) is a test all physics majors at ODU (and other universities) must take and pass in order to graduate. In this video, we take a look at the sections on the exam, and where to find information on it.

I'm surprised that sample question 34 asks how far away Andromeda is lol. I would have never thought to memorize something like that for an exam.
My senior year was the first year my school made us take the Major Field Test. They said the following year they would probably give students a grade that was double their percentile score.
If it makes you feel any better, I feel like you know more than I did when I was at that level and I scored in the 56th percentile. I think you'll do great on it!
how long does it take to get a PhD in physics? Does the area of study make a big difference in the average number of years?
so if you score below the bottom 20% do you not get your degree lol?
question 35 is just calc I. not saying it is not needed, but i think its kinda out of topic
Have you thought about your grad school topic?
How does the special topic section work? Do they cover everything or vary by year?
How much did u get on ur gre and physics gre?
if you get less than 90% u have to shave ur beard
Thank god my school doesn't have an exit exam, I forget most everything after the semester's over.
