Why you must start a small business instead of doing a job is all about convincing you that doing a business is easier and more rewarding that doing a job through competitive exams like GATE, CAT, IAS. This can be appreciated through the following facts:
Probability of success in GATE= 0.0013
Probability of success in IAS= 0.0005
Probability of success in CAT= 0.0075
Probability of success in START UP/BUSINESS= 0.1
These facts tell us that it is much easier to do a startup than do competitive exams like GATE, CAT, IAS in India considering the probability of success! And still, competition every year increases tremendously for something which is not financially and soulfully rewarding as compared to business showing the extent of social conditioning that, ” no matter what one must get a job!”
And yes it is not all about just probability of success, doing a business in an area you love is full of rewards like happiness, spare time, health, peace and joy apart from financial vitality! All you have to do is to listen to you heart- listen to that singing bird from inside- listen to the songs that your soul sings! And yes have courage to follow those intuitions given by directly by the soul!
To me the best part of doing a business comes from contribution and giving back to society- makes perfect sense to me, it is certainly satisfying to help those who need you!
