I don't think you captured the essence of that H.C Gupta case;the editorial was talking abt d difference in treatment of a corrupt officer and a mistake made by an honest one;and Gupta was termed as honest but still he made a mistake;so as per editorial his punishment should have been soothed down;bt u in ur explanation anyway firmly asserted that he was corrupt and truly convicted. No disrespect intended;just thought to make it clear..pls correct me if I'm wrong;.Thank you.
