AICTE gives green signal for single engineering entrance exam from 2018
AICTE has also asked the institutes to start induction programmes and revise the curriculum on a annual basis. It has also directed the institutes to train teachers through the SWAYAM platform. Rs.250 crore will be granted for the implementation of these reforms.
The single entrance exam will bring to an end all the multiple entrance tests conducted by various central bodies, state governments and private institutions.
