Hyderabad: The SSC and Inter Board exams are feeling the pinch of GST too. The Board of Intermediate Education on Wednesday increased first and second year exam fee for this year, while the SSC Board too wants exam fees to be increased on the grounds that the GST has imposed an additional Rs 1 crore burden with increased paper and printing costs.
At present, the BIE collects Rs 360 Inter exam fee per student, which has been increased by Rs 80, taking it to Rs 440. Science students appearing for practical exams have to shell an additional Rs 100.
