Why MBA?
Firstly, you have to know why you want to do an MBA. If you’re only passionate about it, only then you should go for it because it requires a lot of effort.
Secondly, there are 3 sections- Quant, LR/DI and English and you have to find out your weaknesses. It becomes easier if you are good with reading and comprehension, it helps with all the other sections.
A coaching is advisable as it gives you a clear picture of the trend of questions in CAT over the years and how to go about preparing for it.
.
What was your strategy on the day of CAT?
Since the paper is of 3 hours, I divided the 3 sections into 3 hours each. I focused on the particular section in the particular hour only.
I focused on accuracy and not on a large number of questions. I attempted only 55 questions which is actually less for a 99+ percentile. Instead of wasting time on anything and everything, it is better to focus on accuracy of the attempts.
How did Placement Boat help you?
I really like the idea of Placement Boat as it gives an idea from a large number of people who share their experience for the ones who need it.
