New Delhi, Aug 17: The Central Board of Secondary Education’s initiative ‘Udaan’ has helped nearly 135 girl students crack the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Mains for admission in engineering colleges this year. The objective of the initiative is assisting girl students, who have scored above 70 per cent or above and 80 per cent in mathematics and science, with mentoring and tutorial support, as per PTI.

Launched by CBSE, Udaan project addresses the gender gap in leading engineering institutions across India.
