Pune: The education department’s claim of bringing the state entrance test (MH-CET) for engineering admissions to the level of the joint entrance examination (JEE) has not lived up to expectations, experts said.
The JEE level has not been matched completely in the syllabus and pattern announced on Thursday. Students preparing for JEE are happy with the syllabus, but those preparing for MH-CET are not. The entrance test is a gateway for admissions to first-year engineering and technology and pharmacy.
