NEET is the national level examination for admission to MBBS & BDS courses. CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is the conducting authority which organizes the NEET examination every year in various cities across the country. NEET exam is a gateway for admissions into medical & dental UG courses offered by various government and private medical colleges of the country. All medical institutions consider NEET score for providing admission in MBBS/BDS courses.
Eligibility criteria:-
The applicant should have an Indian nationality or OCI i.e. Overseas Citizen of India.
He or she must have an age within 17 to 25 years as on 31st December of the admission year.
Also, for reserved applicants, can have a maximum age limit of 30 years.
For qualifying, he should have 12th standard examination certificate or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology & Mathematics.
Either he or she should have any other elective subjects with English
To be eligible for this criteria, he or she should have a minimum 50% in PCB group [40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for General PH]
