  2. Government Initiatives

    Some of the major initiatives taken by the government to promote IT and ITeS sector in India are as follows:

    The Government of India is going to explore new opportunities in various sectors such as providing BPO service from home, digital healthcare and agriculture to achieve the target of making India a US$ 1 trillion digital economy.
    The Government of Andhra Pradesh is targeting to attract investments worth US$ 2 billion and create 100,000 jobs in the information technology (IT) sector in the state, stated Mr N Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister, Andhra Pradesh.
    The Government of Telangana is targeting to provide broadband connection to every household in the state by 2018, which is expected to lead to revolutionary changes in the education and health sectors.
    Mr Manoj Sinha, Minister of Communications, Government of India, launched project DARPAN – digital advancement of rural post office for a new India, for improving the quality and adding value to services and achieving financial inclusion for the unbanked rural population.
    Mr Ram Nath Kovind, President of India, has dedicated four projects, such as Andhra Pradesh Fibregrid, Andhra Pradesh Surveillance Project, Drone Project and Free Space Optical Communication (FSOC) to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
    The Government of India is planning to set wifi facility for around 5.5 lakh villages by March 2019 with an estimated investment of Rs 3,700 crore (US$ 555 million) and the government expects to start broadband services with about 1,000 megabit per second (1 gbps) across 1 lakh gram panchayats by the end of this year.

    बहुत ही बढ़िया सेशन था सर
    दो मुद्दे यहां पर बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण बताया आपने….
    1) सीमा सुरक्षा की बारे में जो खबर आई है वाकई बहुत सावधानी बरतनी पड़ेगी और सरकार को इस विषय पर गंभीर और सूक्ष्म चिंतन करना होगा l यहां पर यह प्रकट होता है कि सुरक्षा कि जो तकनीक तैनात की गई है सीमा पर वह पूरी तरह से नाकाम हो गई है l अगर कोई साधारण सा व्यक्ति या समूह तकनीक से लेस चार-चार लेहर वाली सुरक्षा भेदकर आसानी से सीमा पार कर सकता है तो यह पुरी तरह से साबित होता है की तैनाती तकनिकी उपकरण पुरी तरह से नाकाम हो गये है l उम्मीद है कि यह तकनिक किसीं निजी कंपनी द्वारा इन्स्टॉल कर उसे भारी मात्रा मे फायदा पहुचाया गया है l
    रक्षा मंत्रालय को तुरंत इसपर करवाई करनी चाहिए l

    2) आज YouTube के बढ़ते प्रभाव को देखकर बहुत ही भय महसूस होता हैl आज की तारीख में YouTube पर फायदे कम और नुकसान ज्यादा दिख रहे है l
    लोगों को पूरी तरह गुमराह करना, गंदे लत लगाना, पूरी तरह से झूठे और आपत्तिजनक अश्लील या किसी सेलिब्रिटी के व्यक्तिगत जीवन के बारे में आपत्तिजनक वीडियो फैला के पैसे कमाने के धंधे जोर शोर से शुरू है l और इस पर किसी का भी लगाम नहीं हैl दिन भर में कुछ भी उल्टे सीधे गंदे वीडियो अपलोड कर देते हैं और भिखारी की तरह भीख मांगते रहते है की सब्सक्राइब करो-सब्सक्राइब करो।
    आश्चर्य की बात यह है अब तक YouTube द्वारा या सरकार के किसी विभाग द्वारा कुछ भी कारवाई नहीं की जा रही हैl सायबर सुरक्षा विभाग और देश का मीडिया कानून सिर्फ सो रहा हैl

    I think that If India were also like Chinese communist state , it's economy might have grown by leaps and bounds provided that a good leader might ruled over.As power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
