mam where ur daily practice questions on English comprehension?
There is a figure of speech Hyperbole. It is BASICALLY exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken LITERALLY. The word LITERALLY is also used as Hyperbole. When the concert blew off your head, it simply means that you are emphasizing the experience you got from the concert(while the part of blowing your head not being true). There is a difference between not using the word and using them wisely. So I can say one should BASICALLY learn how to use the word not to avoid it.
you are looking katrina
It was unimaginable for me to find that unimaginable can be used to replace the word AWESOME. One is used to describe the feeling of awe and other is used to show amazement. REALLY?? Are you serious?
Even though the meanings of two words may be the same or nearly the same, they almost never are the same in connotation, distribution, and frequency. “House” and “home” may be offered as synonyms for each other, but we all know that they are not the same.

For me, It is "You Know" I use "You know" while speaking a lot.
But why do I use it.
Well, maybe because I put a lot of emphasis on making sure that the listener understands everything that I'm saying.
