NASHIK: Around 12,400 students who gave the written JEE (Main) exam last Sunday are now preparing for the JEE (Main) online exam scheduled from April 8-9.

Most aspirants found the maths and some physics papers confusing this time. As a result, they expect that this time around another year will be added into the trend of lowering the cut-offs.

Anand Oke, a leading tutor for JEE exams in Nashik, said, “In 2016, we expected the cut-off to increase compared to the last two years. But, it went down by 5 and the common merit list closed at 100 points. This year, the exam was a bit tough and so the cut-off is likely to go down. However, much of this depends on Saturday’s online exam.”
