I think this initiative is very nice…but plzzz if it is possible plzzz refer only hindu …I think everyone is referring Hindu….if ques will from different different newspaper it will be difficult to manage everyday wid different newspaper..since every IAS aspirants are following Hindu…except few…..thankew mam

Total fertility rate is the average number of children born to a women.Population control is paramount for any country's inclusive development and human resouce enhancement.
Linking TFR with religion seems to be superficial as data presented by National family heath care survey other way.
Muslims recorded highest decline in TFR from 3.4 to 2.6.
Big states with sizeable Muslim population like Jammu and Kashmir and West Bengal have TFR one of the lowest in the country.
Bihar is the only big state where TFR is above 3.
Hence. It is clear from Statistics that TFR has more to do with culture,region,literacy rate,awareness etc than to religion.
Enhancing female literacy along with inducing behavioural changes coupled with cresting awareness will help India to reach its replacement level target.
