Moment of Inertia of Square wire for IIT-JEE and NEET Physics is the video lesson in this video. A thin wire is bent into the square shape of all sizes of equal length and it is rotated about an axis passing through any one side of square. We need to find the moment of inertia of this system about the given axis. For two sides the axis is about the edge of the rod and for the side of axis there is no moment of inertia as it is passing through axis of rotation. The forth side can be treated like a point mass concentrated at the other side middle portion.
