NEET Aspirant Held For Cheating; Supervisors Who Helped Students Cheat Also Arrested - News

A 31-year-old postgraduate student (1st year radiology) Dr Jaan Mehta of Patna Medical College and Hospital has been arrested by the crime branch of Delhi police on Tuesday evening.

Mehta was arrested on the allegation of cheating in the national entrance cum eligibility test (NEET), 2016 with the help of supervisors. Delhi police took help for the Patna police for making the arrest.

“During investigation, it came to light that the accused had cleared MBBS after 12 attempts and got rank 386 in the NEET exam held last year,” police sources said, reported The Indian Express.
