For the first time, 372 students of Delhi Government-run schools have cleared this year’s prestigious Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) compared to last year when some 40 to 50 students were able to sail through. It mean there is 644 to 830 per cent increase.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met the successful students on Tuesday and lauded their achievements.

Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia told The Pioneer, “The number of students of the Delhi Government-run schools, who cracked prestigious JEE, was negligible. Last year, some 40 to 50 students had made it. But this year it is due to better education system aided by the continuous monitoring, students performed better.
