MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – A local tutoring center has moved to a new location in Marquette.
Sunday afternoon Rise Above Tutoring held an open house at their new center on Washington Street across from McDonald’s.
Rise Above Tutoring offers services for students of all ages, from Pre-Kindergarten to SAT/ACT and even GRE testing.
Owner Lisa Baker says she hopes the new space can offer more room to help addition students in need.
“I feel very blessed for the space that we have, with the teachers that work for me, and the community we’re working with,” said Baker. “We have kids from Negaunee, Ishpeming, Gwinn, Marquette, even Munising and Escanaba….
