UGC – NET 2018 – CBSE – EXAM REGISTRATION STARTS

Opportunity starts for the candidates willing to appear in National Eligibility Test  -NET 2018 –  apply on the official website and enroll now

The Schedule of UGS NET 2018 July exams is released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The candidates can register for the teacher eligibility exam of the official organizer of NET (National Eligibility Test). For registration, candiate have to visit the official website www.cbsenet.nic.in. This application link is open. It will remain open until April 2018. The exam is scheduled for 8th July 2018.

Eligibility for application of NET

Minimum marks of 55% in Master’s Degree in Humanities, Social Science, Computer Science & Applications etc makes a candidate eligible for the exams. This is eligibility for the general category candidates. Whereas OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, ST needs 50% from the Master’s Degree to make them eligible for the exam. Same criteria of 50% are for candidates fallen under the disability category. This is basic eligibility for the National Eligibility Test to be conducted by CBSE in July 2018. 

Eligibility of Final Year Students of Master’s Degree

Candidates pursuing the final year of the Master’s Degree are also eligible for the test. Who entered into the final examinations of Master’s degree also can apply for the test. Where if the result for the final year of Master’s degree been delayed, the candidate can apply for the National Eligibility Test.

Important Information 

Candidate from all the states except Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya must have Adhaar. This is the medatory requirement for the NET. The candidates from these three states i.e. Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, and Meghalaya can apply without Adhaar, these three states have exemption in this requirement. Candidate should enter the Adhaar number in the online application.

Those who don’t possess the Adhaar the Board has issued guidelines that an application number can serve the purpose. Candidate must have applied for the Adhaar before filing the application. Those who are interested in applying for NET 2018 and don’t have Adhaar. They don’t have to worry. They can apply with the valid application number generated from the Adhaar Enrollment Center. As three states i.e. Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya are exempted from the Adhaar so candidates from these states can apply without Adhaar and application number as well. The applicant from these states should have any of the passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other valid government identity number. This is required for the candidates from these three states.
